Job Description
Liquid Personnel is seeking a skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join its clients Blackburn with Darwen team on a locum basis. This role focuses on delivering essential community-based assessments and interventions for individuals requiring equipment provision as well as minor and major adaptations to support independence safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct community assessments in a local authority setting identifying needs and recommending equipment solutions
* Plan and facilitate minor and major adaptations to enhance safety and functionality within clients homes
* Collaborate with clients families and professionals to create tailored support plans
* Maintain accurate records in line with professional and legal standards
* Complete manual handling assessments and ensure safe practices
Requirements
* HCPC Registration and relevant Occupational Therapy qualifications
* Experience within a local authority setting
* Proficiency in manual handling assessments
* Strong knowledge of equipment provision and home adaptations
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Enhanced DBS clearance
