Job Summary:
To support the Head of Learning and Development in the development, delivery, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of vocational qualifications across the organisation, with a particular emphasis on RQF Level 5 internal verification, assessment standards, and regulatory compliance. The role also has responsibility for delivering learning and development training programmes to staff, ensuring training provision is effective, evidence-based, and aligned with organisational values. In addition, the post holder will lead on outreach activities, building and maintaining strong partnerships with colleges, universities, and other relevant learning institutions to enhance qualification pathways and learning opportunities across all regions.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and produce high-quality learning materials to meet identified training needs, ensuring content is evidence-based, relevant, up to date, and aligned with organisational values.
* Deliver learning and development programmes across the organisation using a range of delivery methods, including face-to-face and virtual learning.
* Manage internal RQF Assessor(s) to ensure consistency of assessment.
* Manage all RQF activities as set out in Praxis Care Assessment Centre policies and procedures
* Act as Assessor and Internal Verifier for the RQF Level 5 Award in Health and Social Care, while supporting Internal Quality Assurance processes to ensure assessment standards, consistency, and compliance with awarding body requirements
* Support the Head of Learning and Development in the enhancement and expansion of vocational qualification offerings across all regions.
* Lead and manage outreach activities, developing and maintaining effective relationships with colleges, universities, and other relevant learning institutions.
* Provide professional support, advice, and guidance to staff and managers, including coaching and consultation on programmes of care or specific interventions, on both an individual and team basis.
* Work in partnership with managers to develop, implement, and evaluate learning and development programmes that meet operational needs.
* Participate in committees and working groups as identified by the Head of Learning and Development, sharing learning and updates with the wider L&D team through staff meetings.
* Contribute to the organisation's induction programme, including coordination where required, liaison with HR and managers, and delivery of key training elements.
* Take a lead role for designated areas of work within the department, maintaining current knowledge, disseminating information, providing guidance, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
* Supervise Learning and Development Facilitators as required, ensuring supervision and appraisal processes are completed in line with organisational policy and appropriately recorded.
* Undertake relevant training to support the effective performance of the role.

Criteria:
Experience and Qualification:
* Professional qualification in Learning & Development, Education, Health & Social Care, or related field.
* Qualified Assessor and Internal Quality Assurer (IQA).
* Experience assessing and internally verifying vocational qualifications (RQF preferred)
* Experience delivering training using face-to-face and virtual methods.
* Experience designing learning materials or contributing to L&D programmes.
* Experience maintaining accurate assessment, verification, and quality assurance records.
* Experience working with internal teams and external learning partners.
Skills & Competencies:
* Knowledge of internal quality assurance processes and assessment standards.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, organisational, and IT skills.
* Occupational competence within Health & Social Care.
Drivers licence and access to a form of transport on appointment. (If a disability precludes an individual from holding a driver's licence, it should be stated how they can meet the mobility requirement of the post)
