About the Role
As a Principal Delivery Manager, you’ll lead large-scale digital transformation programmes across the healthcare portfolio, aligning multidisciplinary teams to deliver services that make a difference to patients, clinicians, and the wider public. You’ll be accountable for successful delivery, programme governance, and strategic client relationships – while also driving commercial performance and contributing to account growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Owning the delivery of complex, multi-million-pound transformation programmes
* Ensuring strategic alignment, measurable value, and long-term impact across workstreams
* Leading governance, risk management, and programme assurance activity
* Building and managing trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders (Director / CxO level)
* Driving account growth by identifying new opportunities and contributing to bid responses
* Managing budgets, forecasting financials, and reporting on key delivery metrics
* Mentoring delivery leads and supporting the wider growth of delivery capability
Ideal Background
* 7+ years of programme delivery experience in Healthcare or Public Sector
* Proven ability to lead large-scale, agile transformation programmes end-to-end
* Strong commercial acumen with experience owning budget, forecasting, and profitability
* Confidence working at CxO level and influencing strategic decision-making
* Experience with agile governance, risk, and assurance in a multi-supplier setting
* Strong understanding of modern digital delivery and technology-enabled change
* Excellent leadership, stakeholder, and people management skills
* Consultancy mindset – proactive, delivery-focused, and solutions-oriented
