Job Description
Key Responsibilities include:
3. Credit Control:Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments.Chase outstanding invoices via phone and email professionally.Allocate incoming payments accurately and maintain debtor records.Prepare aged debt reports and assist with resolving queries.
4. Accounts Payable:Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding.Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.Prepare and process payment runs in line with company policy.Maintain supplier accounts and respond to queries promptly.
5. General Finance Support:Assist with bank reconciliations and month-end processes.Maintain accurate records and support audit requirements.Provide ad-hoc support to the finance team as needed.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Accounts Assistant MUST:
6. Be immediate and ready to start
7. Previous experience in Credit Control and Accounts Payable.
8. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
10. Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems.
11. Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
