Location: Cardiff (on-site role)
What You’ll Do
* Support EHS compliance and continuous improvement activities through the implementation and maintenance of EHS programs, systems and arrangements, including participation in audits, inspections and risk assessments
* Support the delivery of EHS initiatives, training activities and safety campaigns. Assist with the reporting and investigation of accidents, near misses and safety concerns.
* Provide technical and administrative support for regulatory compliance, permitting requirements and adherence to Cytiva corporate EHS policies.
* Support EHS aspects of projects, changes and new product introductions. Assist with maintaining EHS records, metrics and systems and contributing to EHS performance reporting.
* Support site operations and functional teams by providing EHS advice and guidance. Assist with environmental and sustainability activities and promote a positive and inclusive EHS culture.
Who You Are
* An effective and credible communicator, able to engage, influence, and align teams while collaborating confidently across functions and levels of the organisation.
* Proven ability to drive continuous improvement in EHS processes, reducing risk, improving operational efficiency, and supporting cost and resource control.
* Demonstrated capability in risk assessment and incident prevention, using data, audits, and leading indicators to prioritise actions and deliver sustainable EHS performance improvements.
* Strong working knowledge of UK EHS legislation and standards, with the ability to interpret and apply requirements pragmatically within an operational environment.
* Experience in change management, ensuring engagement, compliance, and sustained adoption of new processes and ways of working.
Desirable Qualifications
* Qualified or aspiring Health, Safety and/or Environment practitioner, holding a NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent).
* Practical experience supporting EHS management systems (e.g. ISO 45001 / ISO 14001), internal audits, or regulatory inspections within an operational environment.
* Experience working within a regulated manufacturing or life sciences environment, applying EHS requirements in line with business and operational priorities.
