Responsibilities
* Lead and support multidisciplinary engineering teams across the full product lifecycle.
* Manage project plans, resources and delivery timelines to ensure successful execution.
* Uphold high standards for code quality, testing, reliability and performance.
* Recruit, mentor and develop engineering talent, including senior engineers.
* Act as a bridge between the R&D team and wider business, aligning efforts with product and architectural strategy.
* Continuously improve workflows, methodologies, and tools to optimise team performance.
* Encourage knowledge sharing, professional growth and adoption of new technologies
Skills / Must have
* Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
* 5+ years of experience in a leadership role managing mid‑sized engineering teams with direct reports.
* Proven track record in software development and delivery, with hands‑on experience in agile and scrum methodologies.
* Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing engineering talent.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and accountability.
* Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities in a dynamic environment.
* Comfortable working in an international, cross‑functional environment.
* Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
* Valid work permit for the Netherlands (visa sponsorship not available).
