A growing Engineering business that is recognised as a world leader in its field of precision automation components is looking for an Assembly Operator to join its team in Hertford. The business has nearly 60 years of innovation and are backed by extensive application experience, utilising the most advanced materials.
You will be working 39 hours per week, Monday-Thursday, 07:45-16:45 & Friday, 07:45-12:45.
What youll be doing as Assembly Operator:
You will accurately put together components or parts to create finished products according to specifications.
Key responsibilities:
* Assemble components or products using hand tools, power tools, or automated equipment.
* Follow technical instructions, blueprints, or schematics to ensure proper assembly.
* Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
* Identify and report defective parts or materials to the supervisor.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Meet production targets and deadlines.
* Perform basic machine operation as required.
Were looking for an Assembly Operator with:
1. Standard secondary education
2. Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly is an asset but not required.
