About the Role
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality science lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential. The school welcomes applications from teachers specialising in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or general Science.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and effective Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum.

Teach KS3 and KS4 Science, adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners.

Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.

Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and scientific thinking.
*
Contribute to the wider life of the department and collaborate with colleagues to share best practice.
*
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
*
Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4.
*
Strong subject knowledge across one or more science disciplines.
*
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
*
A commitment to supporting student progress and wellbeing.
*
The ability to plan engaging lessons that inspire a love of science.
