Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
Responsibilities
* Perform cleaning duties in accordance with established standards and procedures.
* Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to ensure cleanliness.
* Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
* Clean restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies and maintained to a high standard of hygiene.
* Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
* Follow all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
* Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working condition.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in commercial cleaning is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
* Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining cleanliness standards.
