We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Enfield, starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early years education, supporting young children in developing key skills and a love of learning during their first year(s) at school.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support daily learning activities. You will provide 1:1 or small-group support, assist with lesson preparation, and help create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment. Your role will be essential in ensuring children feel confident, engaged, and motivated to learn.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the EYFS teacher in delivering daily lessons and activities
* Provide 1:1 or small-group support to children as required
* Assist in planning and preparing engaging, play-based learning activities
* Observe and record children’s development to inform planning and assessment
* Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and confidence
* Support daily routines including snack times, outdoor play, and personal care
* Promote social interaction, communication skills, and emotional development
* Work collaboratively with EYFS colleagues and other school staff
* Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
* Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times

* Have experience working with young children, ideally in an EYFS or nursery setting
