Market House Restaurant is looking for a Chef de Partie to join their team.
This role would suit a candidate used to fresh food and high standards.
Salary: up to £16.50 /hourly depending on experience, including service charge
Working hours: We are looking for part time and full time roles, and we are willing to be flexible to fit around home life. Full Time hours: 40 h/week with overtime pay and service charge. Part time hours can be flexible from 15h/week to 30 h/week.
Responsibilities:
* Knowledge and ability to run a section
* Prepare, cook and present high quality food
* Stock control
* Portion control
* Waste control
* Adhere to all SOPs, including Food Hygiene, allergens, COSSH and HACCAP
* Keep up to date with food trends
* Assisting the Executive Head Chef and the Senior Sous/ Sous Chef with new Creative menu ideas and recipes
* Help manager and train other chefs such as commis and Apprentice chef
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
* Food Safety Qualification- minimum Level Two
* Knowledge of kitchen equipment
* Knowledge of Food Hygiene, allergens, COSSH and HACCAP
* Manual handling techniques
* High level Attention to detail
* Flexibility and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
* Team player qualities
* A positive 'can-do' attitude and approachable manner
* Understandable level of English, spoken and written
