Ysgol Greenhill School is an 11 to 19 comprehensive school serving the historic walled town of Tenby and surrounding areas. Located within the scenic Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the school fosters a caring, inclusive, and welcoming environment where pupils and staff uphold strong values and ethos.
We are seeking to appoint a forward-thinking and innovative Science teacher to join the Science AoLE from September 2025. This is a full-time fixed-term position for 1 year, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
The Science AoLE at Ysgol Greenhill is a successful team providing excellent opportunities for students across all age groups. The team collaborates to share resources and reduce workload, with many students choosing to study science subjects at A-level in the Sixth Form.
The ideal candidate will be:
* A qualified science teacher (including NQTs).
* Passionate about their subject and able to inspire students.
* Committed to providing the best possible education for all children.
* A reflective practitioner eager to develop their skills.
* A supportive team player dedicated to delivering excellent lessons.
While there may be opportunities to teach at A-level, this is not a requirement. Applications are welcome from specialists in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
