Role: UX/UI Designer – 12month fixed term contract
Location: Manchester
Approach To Working: Hybrid (2, occasionally 3 days in office per week)

We are looking for an experienced User Experience Designer to join their small but powerful team here in Manchester. This is an initial 12 month fixed term contract with a view to extend into a permanent position.
So what will the role entail?
1. Creative lead on the next wave of innovative technology solutions within our Green Energy, Sustainability & Procurement software.
2. Market research to be at the forefront of consumer engagement, design and software trends.
3. Collaborating with our in-house team and external clients and agencies using your expertise to seek, develop and implement solutions.
4. Simplify data-heavy visualizations and analytics through user-focused design.
5. Create compelling user journeys that engage and captivate consumers.
6. Partnering closely with our front end developer who will bring your ideas to life.
Not everyone can be a UX Designer in green energy, we require the following skills and experience:
We want to see your experience in a fast paced, agile environment. Your creativity knows no boundaries and can elevate good to amazing.
You will comfortably be able to communicate to developers and customers alike transforming ideas into reality.
You will stay up to date with new technologies and trends to bring forward fresh ideas to the longterm technology roadmap.
You will understand complex data visualisations and help to simplify them through innovative designs.
Experience with UX/UI tools such as:
* Adobe XD
* Photoshop and Illustrator
Experience with SaaS software models and designing data-heavy applications is also advantageous.
