Exciting Job Opportunity: HGV/LGV Class 1 Shunter Driver
Location: Thorne (and surrounding areas)
Shift Patterns & Pay:
1. Monday to Friday: 06:00 – 14:00 £16.86 (including holiday pay) 14:00 – 22:00 £19.38 (including holiday pay)
Job Description:
We are looking to recruit Class 1 Shunter Drivers for our client ,ongoing until March(with the possibility to become permanent)
Your role will include:
2. Class 1 shunting
3. Handling steel work
4. Transporting 18M steel loads
5. Securing/Strapping the load
Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
6. A valid CPC and Tacho card
7. A valid UK driving license
8. No more than 6 points on your license
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
