The Opportunity

Are you skilled and enthusiastic about managing reservations? We're looking for a Reservationist to assist with ensuring our guests have a seamless booking experience.

What You'll Do:

1. Customer Interaction: Answer phone calls and emails from customers promptly and professionally.
2. Reservation Management: Process reservations using the hotel's reservation management system.
3. Deliver Excellence: Provide outstanding customer service at all times.
4. Coordinate Efforts: Liaise with other departments, such as housekeeping and the front desk, to ensure a smooth reservation process.
5. Maintain Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all reservations and cancellations.
6. Resolve Issues: Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
7. Upsell Services: Promote hotel services and amenities to customers.
8. Report Progress: Prepare reports on reservations and revenue as required.
9. Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments.

Ideal Candidate

27. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
28. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
29. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
30. The ability to work effectively under pressure.
31. A good understanding of reservation management systems.
32. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
33. The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends if required.
34. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
