The Role
Skilled CNC Sliding head setter/operator required. The ability to read and edit programmes is preferrable. Experience on sliding head CNC machines would be advantageous. We require a keen eye for detail and precision. You will knowledge of modern tooling and machining techniques with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Role Description
* Operate designated machinery safely and competently, ensuring all HSE and housekeeping standards are maintained.
* Interpret engineering drawing, manufacturing components to set tolerances.
* Perform QC checks on components as required by manufacturing specifications.
Essential Qualifications/Experience
* CNC sliding head experience advantageous.
* Fanuc Control.
* CMM knowledge.
* Able to interpret engineering drawings.
* Flexible mindset.
* Experience of working with CNC programmable lathes. Citizen bar feeder knowledge would be advantageous.
Desirable
* Participation and understanding of Continuous Improvement activities. Knowledge of 5S and lean principles would be advantageous.
