Overview
The Walk‑In Service, hosted by the Out of Hours Primary Care (GMED) team, is looking to recruit a Clinical Lead to join our dynamic and responsive service.
Walk‑in services provide same‑day access to urgent primary care without the need for a booked appointment and form part of a major national pilot programme funded by the Scottish Government. This programme is helping to shape future models of urgent and unscheduled care across Scotland.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the GMED Clinical Director, Service Manager and wider multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality, safe, person‑centred care.
* Play an active role in the continuing development of the service.
* Have overall strategic and operational responsibility for the management and delivery of the Walk in Service.
Qualifications
* Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC is required. (Licence to practise must be in place prior to starting in post).
Job Details
There is 0.2 WTE posts available and flexible working arrangements will be considered.
This post is based within Aberdeen Health Village.
Contract: Fixed term for 12 months
Hours: 2 sessions per week
Salary: £77,160 – £115,167 per annum / pro rata
