Baltimore Consulting are currently working with a North London based Local Authority to appoint an interim PfA Manager to lead their Preparing for Adulthood function. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to step into a well-established and collaborative team. Your Role as the PfA Manager: Provide day-to-day operational oversight of the PfA team, ensuring high-quality service delivery Collaborate with schools, post-16 education and training providers, and wider stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for young people with SEND. Deliver on key service priorities and statutory responsibilities related to preparing for adulthood. Provide guidance and leadership to the Senior Officer and wider team. Maintain excellent communication across education, health, and care sectors. Ensure all work is compliant with the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation. Your experience as a PfA Manager: Significant experience working within PfA or 0–25 SEND services, ideally at management or senior officer level. In-depth understanding of SEND legislation, statutory frameworks, and the PfA pathways. A collaborative, positive approach, someone who can fit into a supportive team culture. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to undergo a new check. References covering the last 3 years of employment must be available upon request.
