Low Latency C++ Developer - Global Investment Management
Salary: £200-450k TC
Systematic hedge fund focusing on developing high-quality financial strategies across various asset classes and markets, utilizing a proprietary research platform to explore market inefficiencies.
Exciting opportunity for an experienced C++ Developer with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to join the newly formed Low Latency Trading group in their Mayfair office. Your main responsibility will be to design, develop, and optimize efficient code for various components of the team's trading and research systems. Reporting directly to the Head of Low Latency Trading, you'll work within a small team of researchers, developers, and traders at the forefront of quantitative finance.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced technical environment and enjoys collaborative work to achieve critical business goals.
Requirements
* Minimum 4+ years of strong C++ programming experience, writing high-performance code in a low-latency trading environment
* Proficiency in Modern C++ (C++17/20), including template meta-programming
* Deep understanding of network programming and distributed computing
* Solid experience with Unix/Linux fundamentals
* Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
