Job Title: KS3 Outreach Tutor

Job Duties:
* Provide one-to-one and small group tutoring in English and Maths to Key Stage 3 students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
* Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities.
* Implement creative teaching strategies to engage students and promote academic progress.
* Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students and stakeholders.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support holistic student development.
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Specialist knowledge in teaching English and Maths to students with SEMH needs.
* Experience working with Key Stage 3 students in an educational setting.
Education:
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
Experience:
* At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths.
* Experience working with students with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of the Key Stage 3 curriculum in English and Maths.
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Effective classroom management techniques.
* Training in behaviour management strategies.
Working Conditions:
* Part-Time hours, with flexibility in scheduling.
* Work primarily in educational settings such as learners homes, local libraries or schools.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
