Job Description Job Opportunity: Senior Food Safety and Quality Manager Location: Dungannon, Northern Ireland Are you a seasoned Quality Manager looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Manager to join a leading food manufacturing company based in Dungannon, Northern Ireland. About the Role: As the Senior Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety are maintained throughout our operations. You will lead the Quality Assurance team, driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team, providing direction and support to ensure team objectives are met. Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with BRC, HACCP, and other relevant standards. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols. Oversee the investigation and resolution of any quality-related issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Work closely with production and other departments to ensure quality standards are integrated into all processes. Lead training initiatives to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization. Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding quality issues and requirements. Prepare and present quality reports to senior management. Skills and Experience Required: Minimum of 4 years ’ experience in a Quality Management role within the food manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations, including BRC and HACCP. Proven experience in leading and managing a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Relevant third-level qualification in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field is desirable. Benefits: Competitive salary of £42,000 - £46,000. Comprehensive benefits package.
