Kendon Rope & Twine is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the business as a Sales Outreach Data Apprentice. The business is a long-established importer and distributor of hardware, based in West Yorkshire. With the support of Kendon Packaging PLC, they offer a stable and supportive workplace with a practical, team orientated culture.
In this role, the apprentice will work with data from systems such as ERP, CRM, and sales reportsusing Excel and other tools to clean, organise, and interpret information. They will produce reports, spot trends, and support decision-making to improve business performance. The role also includes engaging with clients by phone, processing orders, and responding to enquiries.
In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Data and Business Insights qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
Collect and analyse data from internal systems, and sales repots to support business operations.
Use Microsoft Excel and other tools to clean, organise and interpret datasets, applying techniques like pivot tables, filters and formulas.
Generate reports for internal and external stakeholders, providing insights on sales performance, customer behaviour, and campaign results.
Identify trends and patterns in data to help improve productivity, cost efficiency and overall business performance.
Collaborate with teams across departments to ensure accurate data collection and support informed decision-making processes.
Engage with existing clients by phone to support sales and marketing campaigns.
Process client orders and respond to general enquiries.
Generating marketing material, engaging with clients by phone, processing orders, and responding to enquiries.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
£16,000-£18,000 per annum.
Monday to Thursday 9am-5:30pm, Friday 9am-4pm.
20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
Exposure to different business functions, with the opportunity to train into other roles over time.

Confident with computers and basic software.
Confident communicator.
Comfortable speaking on the phone with clients.

Grade 5 in GCSE Maths and Grade 4 in GCSE English.
