Their project portfolio includes everything from large industrial and commercial developments (valued over GBP30 million) to smaller specialist schemes within the education, residential, retail, leisure and healthcare sectors.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver detailed mechanical building services design
* Producing calculations, reports, specifications and drawings using software such as IES, Revit and AutoCAD
* Designing energy–efficient, low–carbon systems tailored to the needs of each building
* Supporting and overseeing the delivery of projects from concept through to completion
* Coordinating with internal and external teams including structural engineers, architects, surveyors and contractors
* Attending design team and client meetings
* Ensuring all designs comply with current legislation and health & safety standards
* Advising clients and design teams on mechanical strategy, sustainability and system optimisation
Experience and Skills Required:
* Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
* Chartered or working towards chartership with CIBSE or IMechE
* Proficient in relevant design software including AutoCAD and ideally Revit
* Strong technical knowledge with a passion for low–energy design
* Collaborative approach and confident communicator across disciplines
