One of my local authority clients based in the South is currently seeking an interim Health & Safety Environmental Health Officer to support their Corporate Health & Safety function for the next 6 months.
Responsibilities
1. Dealing with Union queries and issues.
2. Conducting risk assessments.
3. Implementing health and safety policies and procedures.
4. Reviewing and developing a comprehensive Health and Safety strategy.
5. Preparing and managing Health & Safety arrangements for all Council activities.
6. Monitoring and reporting on accidents and incidents through internal procedures.
Additional Role Information
* Hours per week: 16-21
* Start Date: ASAP
* Contract duration: 6 months
* Working Pattern: On site
* Rate: DoE
