HGV Class 1 Driver – Garretts Green, Birmingham, West Midlands People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver based in Garretts Green, Birmingham, West Midlands .

Shifts • Monday to Friday – start times between 4:30pm and 7:30pm • Trunking work • 1 drop per shift Rates of Pay • £17.00 per hour Benefits • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing work • Weekly pay • On-site canteen • Training provided • Immediate starts • Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties • Carrying out RDC or brewery deliveries (curtain-side, no handball required) • Operating and driving HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently • Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Ensuring all cargo is correctly loaded and secured • Adhering to traffic laws and regulations • Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs • Assisting with loading and unloading when required Essential Skills • Valid UK Category CE licence • Minimum 12 months' experience driving CE vehicles • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements (no major endorsements) • Valid UK CPC card and Digital Tachograph card • Good spoken and written English • Excellent punctuality and time-keeping • Strong understanding of road transport regulations • Effective communication skills Desirable Experience • Previous commercial driving experience • Previous multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided • Driver assessment required prior to start • One-day paid induction following a successful assessment Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a HGV Class 1 Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information. xkybehq
