Strategic Account Executive – AI Communications (Remote, London)

We’re representing a high-growth technology company that’s redefining how global brands communicate with their customers. Their intelligent messaging and AI-driven engagement platform is used by some of the world’s most recognisable apps — powering billions of interactions every month.
Following major investment and strong enterprise momentum, they’re expanding their presence in Europe and seeking an accomplished Strategic Account Executive to accelerate growth across a defined set of high-value customers.
The Role
This is a hands-on enterprise sales position focused on a small number of complex, high-potential accounts. You’ll partner with senior business and technical leaders to identify how advanced conversational and agentic AI can improve their customer journeys — from user onboarding and support to retention and engagement.
Your remit spans full-cycle sales: from sourcing and qualifying new opportunities to negotiating multi-stakeholder, multi-year agreements. The environment suits a self-starter who thrives on autonomy and is motivated by delivering outsized results.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute account strategies for enterprise-level customers in retail, e-commerce, and technology sectors.
* Cultivate trusted relationships with senior decision-makers to uncover business challenges and shape long-term communication strategies.
* Translate technical capability into measurable business value, demonstrating tangible ROI and commercial impact.
* Manage complex sales processes involving technical champions, procurement, and C-suite executives.
* Maintain a strong pipeline through self-sourced activity — this is a hunter role, not an account management post.
* Contribute feedback to product and go-to-market teams to inform enterprise playbooks and future roadmap.
Ideal Background
* Experience in enterprise-level SaaS or AI-based technology sales, ideally within fast-scaling or venture-backed businesses.
* Proven history of exceeding million-pound+ annual targets and winning complex, high-value contracts.
* Comfortable selling technical solutions to both commercial and developer audiences.
* Skilled in recognised sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or SPIN, and able to articulate real-world application.
* Strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and commercial negotiation skills.
* Credible, intelligent communicator with the ability to engage confidently at C-suite level.
* Energetic, resourceful, and motivated by autonomy and impact.
