As a member of the Culture, Leadership and OD Service the post holder will contribute to the design and delivery of people and organisational development processes and interventions that help create a culture of learning and support the development of a competent, capable and agile workforce. The post holder will manage, coordinate, and deliver agreed organisational development, in particular leadership and management development interventions in response to organisational challenges and demands, as defined by the OD Engagement and Experience Manager. The post holder will be required to work with a high degree of autonomy, self‑management and professionalism, working closely with a wide range of partners, both within and outside of the organisation. The post holder will be responsible for reporting progress on work portfolio, ensuring targets are met, and risks identified and managed, and financial balance is achieved.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the delivery of diagnostic exercises e.g. surveys, focus groups, workshops to identify and develop the existing organisational culture.
* Supporting the development, facilitation and evaluation of OD interventions e.g. Growing Stronger Together, Values Based Appraisals, Values Based Interviews, NHS Annual Staff Survey, All Staff Welcome Day and Induction etc to ensure delivery against and achievement of the OUH People Plan.
* Maintain the content on the intranet and SharePoint site in accordance with current protocols.
* Produce reports/briefing papers and written communications for the Senior OD Practitioner and the OD Engagement and Experience Manager on Culture, Leadership and OD Service related activity.
* Work with the Culture, Leadership and OD Service colleagues, internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and achievement of all elements within the OUH People Plan.
Qualifications
* Computer literate with experience of working with the Microsoft Office package.
* Educated to bachelor’s degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline or evidence of continuous and recent CPD relevant to Organisational Development.
* CIPD qualification in OD or generalist HR.
* Experience of working within the OD profession in a complex organisation.
* Experience of facilitating discussions and giving presentations.
* Experience of project management, delivering on time to a high standard.
