We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years’ teacher. This needs to be someone who can provide high quality education and a stimulating learning environment for our children, giving them a strong foundation for their future learning. The successful applicant will be part of an experienced and supportive team, where resilience is valued.
Nottingham Nursery School is a vibrant environment in which to work; we are the only Local Authority Maintained School in Nottingham City with pupils from a range of cultural backgrounds. Our school is purpose built with pupils aged 2 to 4 and offers the opportunity to focus on high quality Early Years’ provision. The children are at the heart of everything we do, and they have very positive attitudes towards their learning and behaviour, which was recently recognised by Ofsted. Our families are aspirational for their children and supportive of our work.
Nottingham Nursery School is federated with Mellers Primary School, both settings are at the heart of the community and school leaders are ambitious for the future. They know that the right candidate will bring inspiration, passion and the drive to help us build on strong foundations.
We need a teacher, who:
•Loves working with young children.
•Has vision and drive to improve education for all pupils.
•Has knowledge of the Early Years’ Curriculum and is able to challenge pupils with careful lesson design and high-quality provision.
•Is committed to inclusion and ensuring that the individual needs of all learners are met.
•Understands the importance of a relational approach to behaviour management.
•Collaborates with other staff and professionals.
•Builds strong relationships with families in the community.
•Follows policies regarding safeguarding and keeps this at the heart of their practice.
