Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Care and Support Assistant at Sussex Avenue, Kent.

The role of Care and Support Assistant includes:
* Providing support to encourage customers with learning and physical disabilities to maximise their potential and independence
* Key working with individuals to develop and follow care and support plans
* Following care plans and maintaining detailed care notes
* Providing high-quality, personalised care including personal care and medication management
* Assisting customers with daily activities such as washing, dressing, and mobility
* Supporting customers to engage with the community, including shopping, social visits, and appointments
* Promoting a positive, social environment to prevent isolation
* Ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
* Undertaking risk assessments and promoting safe practices
Skills and experience required:
* Prior experience in personal care is desirable
* A caring and compassionate nature
* Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs
* Excellent organisational skills
* NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it
