About the Hotel
Malmaison Glasgow is set in a former Greek Orthodox Church, featuring 79 bedrooms, Chez Mal Brasserie and Bar, and flexible meeting and events space. This property offers a unique experience and a great opportunity for a driven, target‑focused Sales Manager to capture the Glasgow market and beyond.
Responsibilities
* Lead a small proactive sales team focused on corporate and group rooms, meetings and events.
* Collaborate with the General Manager to produce and maintain the Sales and Marketing plan for the hotel.
* Drive the sales strategy in the city, selling the hotel to the Glasgow market and beyond.
* Analyze market data, track KPIs and report on performance to inform strategy.
* Build and nurture relationships with key contacts and stakeholders in the city.
* Represent the hotel in a professional manner outside of a typical 9‑5 office environment.
Qualifications
* Proven background within a hotel sales environment.
* Strong negotiation, organisational and communication skills.
* Analytical mindset and data‑driven decision making.
* Experience in the Glasgow market preferred.
* Proactive individual seeking a new challenge.
