Drama Teacher
* Rate: £220-£235p/h

* Job Type: PT Temporary ASAP start
* Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (9-5) and Friday (9-2)
We are seeking a dedicated Drama Teacher to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing, teaching, and assessing UAL Level 3 Performing Arts with a specialisation in drama. The successful candidate will also serve as a personal tutor, providing essential pastoral support to students.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Plan course delivery in line with study programme requirements to ensure comprehensive coverage and student engagement.
* Provide pastoral support to students, helping them navigate both academic and personal challenges.
* Arrange, monitor, and supervise learners on study programmes, including educational visits and field trips, to enhance learning experiences outside the classroom.
* Prepare for inspections, moderator reports, and visits, ensuring compliance and readiness.
* Conduct both formative and summative assessments, manage internal verification, and supervise assessments to maintain high academic standards.
* Maintain and provide accurate records and statistical checks related to teaching and across courses, including enrolment checks and attendance records.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in teaching drama at a similar academic level.
* Strong understanding of UAL Level 3 Performing Arts curriculum and assessment requirements.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage course planning and execution.
* Ability to provide effective pastoral support and guidance to students.
* Experience in preparing for educational inspections and handling administrative responsibilities related to teaching.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and external bodies.
