Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time
The Best Connection is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Brake Press Operator / Sheet Metal Worker to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with previous sheet metal fabrication and brake press operating experience to secure a permanent position with a reputable company.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating CNC and manual brake press machinery
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Bending, forming and fabricating sheet metal components to precise tolerances
- Conducting quality checks on finished products
- Setting up machinery and selecting appropriate tooling
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Working independently and as part of a production team to meet deadlines
Requirements
- Previous experience operating brake press machinery is essential
- Experience working with sheet metal in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team
