Graduate Cover Supervisor
Location: Bridlington and surrounding areas
Pay: £95 – £120 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Vision for Education are seeking motivated and enthusiastic graduates to work as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Bridlington and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers to gain valuable classroom experience prior to undertaking teacher training.
About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre-set work and ensuring a positive learning environment is maintained. This role does not require lesson planning or marking, making it ideal for graduates looking to build confidence and develop classroom management skills.
You will:
1. Supervise whole classes during teacher absences
2. Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials
3. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
4. Support students in completing set work
5. Gain hands-on experience across a variety of subjects and year groups
This role offers flexibility, with opportunities ranging from day-to-day supply to short-term and long-term placements, allowing you to build experience that suits your availability and career goals.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
12. Hold a degree (or be in your final year of study)
13. Have a genuine interest in working with young people
14. Be confident leading a classroom and managing behaviour
15. Possess strong communication and organisational skills
16. Be adaptable, reliable, and professional
17. Have (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service
Previous experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, coaching, mentoring) is desirable but not essential.
