Contracts Manager Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
* Drafting and reviewing contracts to ensure compliance with project requirements.
* Negotiating contracts with clients, contractors, and suppliers to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
* Monitoring contract costs to ensure alignment with project budgets.
* Managing payment applications, valuations, and variations to prevent disputes.
* Identifying and mitigating contractual and financial risks.
* Liaising between teams, including legal, procurement, finance, and project management.
* Ensuring all contractual obligations are met by all parties involved.
* Managing contract renewals, extensions, or terminations as needed.
Required Skills:
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC, FIDIC).
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Project and time management abilities.
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
