Tissue Viability Assistant Equipment Co Ordinator
Be responsible for arranging the transport, delivery and collection of equipment which is managed by the Tissue Viability department in the community.
Transport Tissue Viability Equipment throughout the Acute Trust whilst adhering to infection prevention and manual handling policies.
Be responsible for cleaning and checking equipment in accordance with Trust policies.
Assist with monitoring equipment stock levels and keep accurate up to date written and computerised records of all equipment loaned from or returned to the Tissue Viability Equipment Stores.
Report any equipment defects/breakdowns to the Tissue Viability Clinical Nurse Specialist and Tissue Viability equipment stores co-ordinator and take appropriate action in accordance with service and Trust procedures.
Maintain accurate records of all equipment noted as faulty, damaged or unsafe to use and report the same to the Tissue Viability Clinical Nurse Specialist and Tissue Viability Equipment Stores Lead.
Manage telephone calls from internal and external agencies whilst maintaining a courteous, and efficient manner.
Work flexibly as part of a team to meet needs of the Tissue Viability service, both within the acute and community setting.
