Are you a passionate and insightful Teacher of Psychology with a desire to inspire students to explore the complexities of human behaviour and mental processes? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our successful Psychology department in a leading secondary school in Hounslow.

About the Psychology Department:

The Psychology department is a collaborative and passionate team with a shared commitment to fostering students' interest in this fascinating subject. We offer a rigorous and engaging curriculum that covers a wide range of topics, from cognitive and developmental psychology to social psychology and psychological research methods.

About the Role:

* Teach Psychology across Key Stages 4 and 5, with the possibility of contributing to PSHE lessons.
* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
* Use a range of teaching methods and resources, including experiments, discussions, case studies, and research projects, to bring Psychology to life for students.
* Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys.
* Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our Psychology curriculum remains relevant and challenging.
* Foster a love of Psychology in students, encouraging them to explore different psychological perspectives and develop their understanding of human behaviour.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in Psychology education.

Ideal Candidate:

* Holds QTS or equivalent.
* Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Psychology.
* Demonstrates a passion for teaching Psychology.
* Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
* Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive learning environment.
