Following a string of exciting client wins, we’re expanding our media team and looking for a Senior Paid Media Manager - a performance-driven specialist who will become a key voice in our agency and has the ambition to grow towards board membership within three years.
The Role
You’ll lead the delivery and optimisation of Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic campaigns, ensuring client objectives are exceeded. This is a hands-on performance role where you’ll work closely with our dashboard specialists, using their outputs to extract insights and present them confidently to clients.
You’ll also act as the face of the performance team in pitches, bringing energy, expertise, and results-driven credibility.

Key Responsibilities
* Campaign Delivery – Lead the execution and optimisation of Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic campaigns to maximise ROI.
* Ad Operations – Own end-to-end AdOps including set-up, monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting.
* Insights & Dashboarding – Collaborate with our dashboard team to turn automated reports into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
* Governance & Innovation – Stay ahead of platform innovations, AI-driven developments, and governance/law changes affecting paid media.
* Client Leadership – Present campaign results, insights, and growth opportunities in an articulate, energetic, and confident manner.
* Cross-team Collaboration – Work closely with our SEO Director to deliver integrated performance strategies.
* New Business – Represent the performance team in pitches and presentations, becoming a trusted expert voice.
Skills & Experience
* 4–5+ years managing Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic campaigns.
* Advanced knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and other social media platforms.
* Team management responsibilities & experience of.
* Advanced experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4.
* Google Ads and Meta certifications.
* Proven track record of campaign optimisation and delivering measurable results.
* Analytical mindset, able to interpret dashboards and present insights effectively.
* Confident communicator with presence in pitches and client-facing settings.
* Passion for innovation - keeping ahead of AI, governance, and law changes in paid media.
* Passion for the Higher Education sector.
* Knowledge of SEO (to work alongside our SEO Director).
* Experience with Ads Manager automations, scripts, and APIs.
