Visitor Engagement Assistant\n\nLocation: SW1 - full time on-site\n Contract Type/Length: Temporary 4 months with a possible extension\n Hourly Rate: £14\n Shifts: 8 hour shifts, primarily Monday to Friday (between 08:30-10:30 start times)\n\nAre you passionate about democracy and eager to engage with the public. Our client is seeking enthusiastic and dynamic Visitor Engagement Assistants (VEAs) to enhance the Visitor Experience Team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of welcoming visitors, delivering engaging tours, and opening the doors to the public.\n\n Key Responsibilities:\n\nWelcome and interact with visitors, providing a friendly and informative experience.\nDeliver engaging tours and talks, adapting your presentation style to suit various audience needs.\nCollaborate with the Visitor Experience Team to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all.\nRespond to visitor inquiries and provide excellent customer service, upholding principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion.\nParticipate in training and development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills.We are in search of individuals who possess:\n\nExcellent Communication Skills: You should be adept at delivering engaging presentations and adjusting your content based on the audience.\nCustomer Service Orientation: A clear understanding of what constitutes excellent customer service, with the ability to meet diverse audience needs.\nCollaborative Spirit: A team player who thrives in a pressured environment and is willing to support colleagues.\nFlexibility: The capability to prioritise tasks and adapt to changing circumstances with sound judgement.\nSelf-Motivation: An independent worker who is proactive and eager to develop expertise in the role.Join us in making a difference and enriching the visitor experience at the UK Parliament!\n\nAdecco is a disability-confident employer.
