SEN Teacher – Temp to Perm
Primary School – Agency Position
We are looking for an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive primary school on a temp-to-perm basis. This role is ideal for a committed practitioner who is confident in adapting learning for pupils with a range of additional needs.
Key responsibilities:
• Planning and delivering differentiated lessons for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties
• Working closely with teaching assistants, the SENCO and external professionals
• Tracking progress, assessing learning and updating EHCP targets
• Creating a safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
• Using a range of strategies to support behaviour, communication and emotional regulation
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching pupils with SEN in a school setting
• Strong behaviour management skills and a child-centred approach
• Ability to plan creatively and work collaboratively
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
