Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Quality and Development Engineer to join our team in Malvern. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional rope and cord solutions. The Quality Engineer will play a key role in maintaining our commitment to quality across all operations.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure product compliance with industry standards.
* Conduct quality audits and inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues effectively.
* Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in product quality.
* Maintain documentation related to quality management systems.
* Support the development of training materials for staff on quality standards.
* Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and other relevant regulations.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
* Carry out testing and development activities for new products and processes.
* Troubleshooting and preventive/corrective actions across the range of products and procedures within the manufacturing process.
Qualifications
* Higher-level qualification in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality assurance methodologies.
* Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques, including root-cause analysis, 8D etc.
* Inquisitive and analytical mindset, with attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Project management experience is a plus.
