An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHS Forth Valley Radiology Department for a band 5 Radiographer to come and join our team. NHS Forth Valley images in the region of 200,000 patients per year and has a diverse range of imaging opportunities associated with this. There are two imaging sites Forth Valley Royal Hospital, and the Minor Injuries/GP services at Stirling Healthcare Village. Rotation through both departments is mandatory.

Radiographers currently rotate through all general areas including Emergency Department (ED) and will be expected to participate in the out of hours/shift rota after appropriate training. There are further training opportunities in the Fluoroscopy suite, DXA imaging, and CT (supervised).

The team at Forth Valley are enthusiastic and willing, and we are looking for candidates who will excel in this fast-paced environment. Current developments include a new eRoster system and improved digital services in Radiology and the wider Health Board.

The successful candidate will be an HCPC registered Diagnostic Radiographer in possession of the BSc/BSc Hons. / MSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
