Medical Records Administrator/Receptionist & Call Handler
InspireHealth is looking to appoint an individual to join our friendly and progressive administration team. Main duties to include extensive notes summarising with front of house reception desk and call centre for appointment bookings. Further training to be given as role progresses.
Main duties of the job
Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
Provide a high standard of front of house care.
Answer incoming calls in a timely and professional manner.
Provide accurate and robust administrative work using a variety of computer programs to maintain paper light systems.
Ensure practice policies and procedures are adhered to.

Salary and Benefits
Salary package is competitive and includes: 6 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata if less than full time / under one year contract) and birthday day off, after probationary period completed.

We currently have one position available: Part Time - 18 Hours, Tuesday: 12.30 to 18.30, Thursday: 08.00 to 14.00, Friday: 12.30 to 18.30

Person Specification
Experience
* Experience of working in a medical setting
* Experience in working with members of the public
* Experience of working in a busy environment
* Experience of clinical software systems
* Previous reception work
* Experience of working in a GP practice
Knowledge and Skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work on own initiative and in a team
* Willingness to develop new skills and undertake training
* Approachable, flexible, and caring attitude
* Ability to work accurately and effectively as directed
* An understanding of work within a surgery environment
Qualifications
* 5 GCSEs Grade C/ 4 and above, or equivalent, including Maths and English
