They are seeking an experienced and motivated Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across a variety of projects in the Highlands and Islands. This role is pivotal to my clients continued success and requires someone with a strong technical background and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
Main Activities:
* Install, maintain and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems in both commercial and residential settings
* Diagnose and troubleshoot faults, ensuring all systems are operating efficiently and safely
* Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns and extend system life
* Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety standards
* Provide excellent customer service, liaising with clients to understand their needs and offering professional advice
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports and compliance documentation
Qualifications and experience:
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent
* F Gas Certification is essential
* Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work well within a team, but also able to carry out tasks independently
* Full UK driving licence
* Fluent in English
