The position of Plant Cost Controller is offered as a permanent contract, based in our Measham plant, in UK within the Exterior.
Mission:
* Track and analyze product profitability within budget targets.
* Propose and implement corrective action plans and improvement projects.
* Follow up on main plant indicators (IPI and production KPIs).
* Monitor daily plant key indicators: Sales, Production, Scrap, and Direct Labor Efficiency.
* Support monthly closing processes, including sales and material margin variance analyses vs. budget and forecast.
* Ensure accurate preparation of Budget and Strat Plan in collaboration with the Plant Controller.
* Maintain costing accuracy (BOM, routines, hourly rates) and prepare annual hourly overhead rates.
* Monitor and ensure stock level accuracy (IPI responsibility).
* Participate in the improvement of controlling procedures and internal controls.
* Influence Plant Controller and Management Team to prioritize corrective actions on key variances.
* Provide financial support to the plant management team for action plans related to internal audits, annual stock counts, and dedicated workgroups.
Requirements:
* Professional accounting qualification or working towards it.
* At least 3 years of experience in cost controlling within an industrial environment.
* Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and HFM.
* Strong analytical and data synthesis skills with a high level of accuracy.
* Proactive, resourceful, and focused on achieving results.
* Effective communicator, able to positively influence and collaborate with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
* Strong client orientation and commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
