Learning & Development Manager - Bristol or London Position Full Time Role Business Services Location London or Bristol Practice Area/Department Human Resources Description Role Overview The Learning & Development Manager will work closely with the L & D team to design, deliver and project manage learning programmes and related projects to support the firm to achieve its strategic objectives. The individual will have a passion for learning, excellent project management skills and solid experience in a similar role. Key internal relationships People & Talent Development Team, Risk and Compliance, Knowledge & Legal technology, Strategic Priority Leads. Reports to Senior Learning and Development Manager. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following Support the Learning and Development team to design, deliver, project manage and evaluate projects, programmes and workshops. Manage their own programmes and projects. Draw on knowledge of adult learning theories, various training design methods and using learning technologies to provide commercial L&D solutions. Provide learning support to Departments/ Groups/ Teams in the business to achieve the firm's strategic objectives. Work with internal stakeholders to carry out learning needs analysis as required and develop and implement innovative blended learning solutions using appropriate resources, including digital resources. Design and develop one on one learning solutions, with individuals as and when required. Work closely with other teams to support firm-wide projects and initiatives that fall within the L&D arena. Manage relevant areas of the Learning budget. Apply the principles of diversity, equality, inclusion and belonging to the delivery L&D solutions, activities and decisions to build and nurture a diverse workplace. Develop existing and new relationships with external consultants in line with RPC's supplier guidelines. Knowledge, skills and experience Designed and developed innovative and blended programmes from idea to successful delivery (E) Experienced facilitator in a face to face, hybrid and virtual environment (E) Managed learning projects (E) Worked in a similar role, ideally within a Professional Services environment (D) Understanding of Learning Management Systems including reporting (D) Managed budgets (D) A recognised Learning and Development qualification, (D) Managed external providers and has a network of suppliers (D) Knowledge and competency in the use of psychometric tools Attributes Engages with our Culture, commits to our Values, and participates in activities to support them Develops and maintains knowledge, skills, and expertise to produce excellent work.
