Job Title: Junior Acoustic Consultant

Salary: GBP30,000:GBP40,000 + Benefits
A well:established and expanding acoustic consultancy is seeking a Junior Acoustic Consultant to join its Norwich office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stage of their acoustics career who is keen to develop hands:on experience within a supportive, highly regarded team.
Youll be involved in a varied portfolio of projects across the East of England, gaining exposure to noise monitoring, acoustic assessments, data analysis, report preparation and direct client interaction. The company places strong emphasis on professional development, offering structured training, clear progression pathways and full sponsorship for the IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control.

Key Responsibilities
*
Undertake environmental noise surveys and building acoustics assessments
*
Prepare technical reports, including noise impact assessments
*
Support acoustic modelling and data interpretation
*
Communicate with clients, planners, contractors and local authorities
*
Collaborate with senior consultants on larger and more complex projects
*
Assist with proposals, tenders and business development activities
Skills and Experience
*
Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related discipline
*
2:5 years experience in environmental and/or building acoustics
*
Strong written and verbal communication skills
*
Working knowledge of BS4142, BS8233 and relevant planning guidance
*
Currently undertaking or committed to completing the IOA Diploma
*
Full UK driving licence
