Senior Engineer - Vehicle Integration Engineer role:
* Lead the whole vehicle software integration activities within the business.
* Build SoRs and manage software development suppliers (no hard code required)
* Collate component, system and vehicle-level requirements to support integration activities.
* Present integration plan and simulate faults and failures ensuring compliance.
* Propose improvements looking for efficiencies wherever possible.
* Support the creation of Whole Vehicle integration requirements.
* Assess vehicles throughout development, including Virtual Series and physical testing to ensure software robustness and product safety.
* Reference Quality History Reviews and Design Failure Modes & Effects Analyses in new design system design
* Work with the Prototype Build and Workshop team to speed up software integration activities in the early phases.
* Good knowledge of functional safety for EVs
* Create and check sign-off reports for the Whole Vehicle software integration prior to approval and release.
Senior Engineer - Vehicle Integration Engineer Requirements:
* Degree level education in an engineering field such as Automotive. Electrical or Software
* Whole vehicle software integration experience in automotive or commercial vehicle industry.
* Vehicle electrification experience
* Ability to generate and present technical material concisely to suit the audience.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Ability to work in a start-up environment.
* Good communication skills to interact with all engineering functions.
