About the Role
Bluebird Care Nottingham is looking for an experienced Care Coordinator / Field Supervisor to join our growing team. This hybrid role combines care coordination in a fast-paced office environment with field supervision in the community.
You’ll ensure our customers receive safe, high-quality care while supporting, supervising, and coordinating our Care Assistants.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and schedule Care Assistants to ensure visits are delivered safely, on time, and in line with care plans
* Accept and process new care referrals, complete assessments, and support care plan writing
* Manage rota changes, sickness, holidays, and emergency cover
* Conduct field supervisions, spot checks, observations, and competency checks
* Monitor care quality and act as a link between customers, families, and the care team
* Maintain accurate records, including mileage, incidents, and training compliance
* Support the Registered Manager with staffing levels and recruitment planning
* Participate in on-call duties and provide care when required (following training)
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 2 years’ experience providing care
* At least 1 year’s experience in care coordination and/or supervision
* Caring, organised, reliable, and flexible
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence and local area knowledge preferred
Requirements
* Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
* Monday to Friday working, with weekend availability as required
