Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? We’re looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive Primary school in Wellingborough, starting as soon as possible.
About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll be working closely with teachers and support staff to help children with a range of additional needs achieve their full potential. You’ll provide 1:1 and small group support, adapt learning materials, and promote inclusion in all aspects of school life.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils with special educational needs in and out of the classroom
Assist with planning and delivering tailored learning activities
Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Provide emotional and behavioural support when required
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience supporting children with SEN (preferred but not essential)
A caring, patient and enthusiastic attitude
Good communication and teamwork skills
A willingness to learn and develop through ongoing training
