Halian Technology is seeking a highly capable Delivery Manager to lead the evolution and operation of digital support services across our Data & AI platforms. This is a strategic and delivery-focused leadership position, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-availability environments and is passionate about delivering customer-centric digital experiences through operational excellence.
As the Delivery Manager, you will define and manage support strategies and operational models for a suite of data-driven digital platforms, including web, mobile, APIs, and customer intelligence services. You’ll ensure robust support using both internal and third-party resources, embed automation and observability, and help modernise support functions as we scale our digital and AI capabilities across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and deliver the Data & AI delivery roadmap, ensuring real, measurable business outcomes
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of AI and data initiatives, from initial scoping through to execution and optimisation
* Drive project and Continual Improvement (CI) outcomes aligned with strategic business goals
* Proactively identify, manage and communicate risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines
* Ensure alignment and integration with cross-functional teams including Infrastructure, EPOS, Engineering, and Support Services
* Manage third-party vendors and delivery partners to ensure value and quality
* Embed best practices in delivery governance, stakeholder management and agile execution
* Continuously refine backlog items (epics, features) in collaboration with product, architecture, and engineering teams
* Track delivery metrics including budget burn-down, velocity, scope changes, and resource utilisation
* Keep pace with evolving trends in data engineering, AI, and data science, and assess applicability to the hospitality industry
Key Requirements:
* Strong background in delivery management of modern digital and data platforms
* Experience leading complex Data & AI initiatives with proven business value
* Excellent knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies
* Skilled in managing cross-functional, matrixed teams (including third-party and remote)
* Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
* Highly analytical with the ability to solve problems and make progress amid ambiguity
* Relevant Project Management certification (e.g. Prince2, Agile)
* Experience in hospitality or retail sectors is a plus
